Hello, Collingswood Marketeers!
ARE WE SEEING DOUBLE?
Weather will be cooler than recent Saturdays, and that space we had to spare last week has filled up with art, clothing, nonprofits, and musicians, most of them in pairs!
FEATURED ARTISTS (YES 2!)
Sally Castellini is not a Market rookie. She’s brought her wreaths and dried floral arrangements to our November Markets. (She also staffs a produce stand at other markets for the Castellini Farm!)
Betsy Cook is well known to all of us as our esteemed Market Director Emeritus. But today she’s bringing her own clothing designs to Market as the designer/owner of American Picnic. (These beautiful items are priced to move!)
LIVE MUSIC—TWO STAGES
Market favorite Dave Kelly brings his strings to the East Stage.
Pete Devine of Trio Nova will go solo (Trio Nova Uno?) at the West Stage.
GUEST VENDORS
John and Kira’s Chocolates are back with delectables. And Waldor Orchids is back with the truffles of the flower world.
NONPROFITS AND FUNDRAISERS
We even have two sets of Cub Scouts. Collingswood Cubs will staff the Veggie Valet, and the Marlton Cubs are here too, to raise some funds for the Yellow Ribbon campaign.
Animal Welfare of Voorhees and Childhood Cancer Awareness will round out a very busy week for community appearances.
VOLUNTEERS PLEASE
Friends of the Farmers’ Market (FOFM) is always welcoming to new volunteers for light duty at the FOFM tent. Reach out to your friends who can spare some time to give to the community and make new friends. We’d love to meet them.
