Weather OCT 19

Terrific fall Market weather. Sunny and bright with no chance of rain. Admittedly chilly, but that’s great for the produce, cheese, and meat. (Consider it a morning in the Crisper section.)

Collingswood Foods SAT OCT 19

Collingswood Section. To emphasize our own community’s food economy, at the west end of the Market, Collingswood food businesses have their own section to promote their contributions to the Borough’s vibrant food scene.

Bread.

HARD BAKED ARTISAN LOAVES FROM LOST BREAD

Revolution Roasters handles the fresh-roasted beverages, while El Sitio provides fantastic Ecuadoran specialties including empanadas and Pan de Yuca (cassava cheese bread treats). Villa Barone features familiar favorite sauces, tasty zeppolis, sometimes their own fresh mozzarella. Sara’s Produce by special arrangement is the one source for produce NOT grown in New Jersey. Lost Bread Co. of Philadelphia has taken up the familiar bakery space.

Music SAT OCT 19

Live Music on two stages from 9am

Heart & Soul

Market favorites the Matinee Relics play the Collingswood Music Tent this week. You’ll be intrigued by nostalgic, romantic songs you can’t quite place and others you can name at the first notes. Meanwhile, on the west stage below PATCO, Greg and Wendy D’Agostino, who perform at South Jersey venues as Heart & Soul, will appear for the first time this week.

Small Bills

Many of you know, but for those of you who don’t, I carry small bills for vendors who run out of singles during the Market day.

VENDOR PARKING PERMITS

It’s good business to save the best parking spaces for SHOPPERS! Most visitors will tell you it’s tough to find parking at the Market. We make things worse by parking our own vehicles in spaces that could be used and re-used many times by shoppers. Please encourage your table crew to park for free in the Lumberyard Parking Garage (just across Collings Avenue from the west entrance). There are plenty of spaces inside, and the walk back to the Market takes 3 minutes.

New to the Market?

General information about the Market, driving directions and Market locator, plus lots of details about our programs, vendor list, and policies, are available at our website.

Flexible Site Plan

Changes will continue to occur throughout the season as vendors come and go and as we learn more about how neighbors interact. I remind you no spaces are ever guaranteed and require your cooperation if I have to move your location any given week.
