Collingswood Foods SAT SEP 14
Collingswood Section. To emphasize our own community’s food economy, at the west end of the Market, Collingswood food businesses have their own section to promote their contributions to the Borough’s vibrant food scene.

HARD BAKED ARTISAN LOAVES FROM LOST BREAD
Revolution Roasters handles the fresh-roasted beverages, while El Sitio provides fantastic Ecuadoran specialties including empanadas and Pan de Yuca (cassava cheese bread treats). Villa Barone features familiar favorite sauces, tasty zeppolis, sometimes their own fresh mozzarella. This week they’ll be joined by John Toigo’s boheme foods, value-added foods from local produce, and by Sew Bee It, makers of beeswax food wraps. Sara’s Produce by special arrangement is the one source for produce NOT grown in New Jersey. Lost Bread Co. of Philadelphia has taken up the familiar bakery space.

Summer Corn Salad

The Clinging-to-Summer Corn Salad
Stef Perna (treatbelly). Summer Corn Salad. Sure, the temps were in the 60s this morning and the sun is coming up later every day. Still, it sometimes feels like summer, especially when you can enjoy the last of our Jersey sweet corn, onions, and peppers. You can get everything you need for Stef’s Clinging-to-Summer Corn Salad at the Market this Saturday (and maybe for a few Saturdays to follow).

LOVABLE ADOPTABLE LADY W
IN THE DOG TENT
AWANJ Animal Welfare Association NJ
The wonderful people of AWANJ Animal Welfare Association NJ will staff the Dog Tent for us this week, distribute the Official Market leash to your 4-legged companion, and introduce you to adoption possibilities. Personally, we’re hoping they bring Lady W to the Market. Stop by and fall in love.
Bag Reduction Program
Small Bills
Many of you know, but for those of you who don’t, I carry small bills for vendors who run out of singles during the Market day.
VENDOR PARKING PERMITS
It’s good business to save the best parking spaces for SHOPPERS! Most visitors will tell you it’s tough to find parking at the Market. We make things worse by parking our own vehicles in spaces that could be used and re-used many times by shoppers. Please encourage your table crew to park for free in the Lumberyard Parking Garage (just across Collings Avenue from the west entrance). There are plenty of spaces inside, and the walk back to the Market takes 3 minutes.
New to the Market?
General information about the Market, driving directions and Market locator, plus lots of details about our programs, vendor list, and policies, are available at our website.

Flexible Site Plan
Changes will continue to occur throughout the season as vendors come and go and as we learn more about how neighbors interact. I remind you no spaces are ever guaranteed and require your cooperation if I have to move your location any given week.
